Drug fueled outburst at local mall ends with suspect being tasered

A drug fueled outburst at a Kitchener mall resulted in a police takedown yesterday afternoon.
Waterloo Regional Police say they received a call from mall security about a suspicious man around 2:30 p.m.
When police confronted the man, he brandished an undisclosed weapon.
Police needed a Taser to bring the man into custody.
There were no injuries, the suspect is being held overnight for a bail hearing.
