81-year-old seriously injured in Kitchener crash

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a serious, single-vehicle crash in Kitchener.

It happened late Monday morning in the Block Line and Strasburg Road area.

It's reported a vehicle was seen speeding into a parking lot at the Forest Glen Plaza, then struck the curb numerous times before continuing into a bordering forest and coming to rest against a tree.

The 81-year-old Kitchener man driving the car suffered serious injuries. 

Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact WRPS.
