Cohort outbreak declared at Galt Collegiate

A new COVID-19 outbreak has been declared in a cohort at Galt Collegiate Institute.

Public health officials have determined a recent staff case has been linked to another case in the same cohort. The affected staff member was last at the school on October 26.

The public school board says no additional students or staff are required to isolate.

Through the investigation by public health, no further close contacts were identified.
