The Special Investigations Unit has been called in to investigate the death of a 28-year-old Guelph man.
Officers and emergency responders were called to the Guelph central transit station Thursday July 5 around 11:30 p.m. after reports a man was in medical distress.
The SIU says officers began C-P-R and administered naloxone, a medication used to combat opioid overdoses, but the man was later pronounced dead at Guelph General Hospital.
Two investigators and two forensic investigators have been assigned to investigate this incident.
