One dead after crash in Oxford County

One person is dead following a crash involving a car and a transport truck in Oxford County.

OPP say the driver of the car was pronounced dead at hospital while the truck driver suffered minor injuries.

Police say it happened around 3:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon at Oxford Roads 29 and 22 in Blandford Blenheim Township.

Police say the car slammed into the transport.

No names have been released and the intersection was closed for several hours.
