Human remains found in Mount Forest (update)

Wellington County OPP say they have discovered human remains in a wooded ravine in Mount Forest.
Spokesperson Josh Cunningham says officers were in the area near North Water Street on Tuesday morning when they made the discovery.
“Due to extreme exposure, we are unable to identify the person,” he said, “We'll rely on the Coroner's Office to help facilitate identifying whose body that is, and obviously the cause of death as well.”
Not much else is known at this time.
But Cunningham adds public safety is not a concern.
“There's nothing that stood out as suspicious at the scene, as far as violence goes,” he noted.
