Catholic School Board Open House

For those who are looking to find a job in the education system, an Open House is being held today by the Catholic School Board. The event is on from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m..
“There are no job interviews. It’s simply an opportunity to come out and meet individuals and get some information,” says Public Resource Services Officer Anne Vair.
The Waterloo Region Catholic Education Centre at, 35 Weber Street West, will be housing the Open House. New teachers, people interested in administrative assistant, educational assistant and others will be able to go and meet with board representatives.
Board representatives will be around to answer questions. They will also talk to people about possible career opportunities within the Catholic School Board.
Before last year’s Open House it was only open to teachers. Since last year they have opened it up to administrative and support groups.
“We had over 600 people last year,” says Public Resource Services Officer Anne Vair.
No registration is required to attend the event. The Board welcomes out anyone who is interested and wants to learn more.
