Woman assaulted in Waterloo Monday night

Waterloo Regional Police are looking for a suspect after a woman was assaulted in Waterloo.

Police say the 21-year-old victim was attacked by a male who jumped out of the bushes on Bricker Avenue around 9 last night.

Police say the suspect released her when she screamed, but not before pushing her head against a wall, causing her to suffer cuts and bruises.

The suspect is described as white and 6 feet tall.

He was wearing a dark hoodie, possibly with a front pouch and dark pants.

He was last seen running down Clayfield towards Ezra Avenue.
