Kitchener man identified, charged with uttering threats

Waterloo regional police have now identified and charged a man in connection with a confrontation in the City of Kitchener.

It was around 8:20 a.m. on June 19 when police received reports of a disturbance in the area of Wilson Avenue and Fairway Road South.

It’s alleged that an unknown man had made threats toward a victim.

Officers arrived on the scene and located the victim, though the suspect had already left the area on foot.

After releasing a photo of their suspect, police were able to identify the man and place him under arrest just hours later around 11:30 a.m.

Investigators released the photo of the individual pictured below in connection to the case, in the hopes of finding the suspect.

The 22-year old Kitchener man now faces charges of uttering threats to cause harm.
