Vehicle windows smashed during thefts in Waterloo

Police are searching for a suspect they say has smashed the windows of several vehicles in Waterloo to steal items from inside.
Investigators from the Waterloo Regional Police Service have so far received eight reports of such thefts, all from the Albert Street and Columbia Street West area.
They occurred between Dec. 16 and 22 last year.
They said these vehicles were broken into in both parking lots and underground garages.
Items allegedly stolen from those vehicles include cash, IDs, jewellery, and even clothing.
Police have released images of a person they need to find in this investigation.
