Regional police investigating assault at Kitchener store

Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating an assault that took place at a Kitchener store.
On July 9, police say an unknown woman went into a store in the area of Highland Road West and Westmount Road around 10:40 a.m. Police say she began screaming at an employee and allegedly threw at can at them, hitting them in the head.
The suspect then fled the scene with another woman before police could arrive.
A 30 year female employee was taken to a local hospital and treated for their injuries.
Police are looking to speak with the person in the photos for more information.
