Charges anticipated after Kitchener crash

Police say charges are anticipated after a two-vehicle crash in Kitchener on Wednesday.

The crash was reported around 11:40 a.m. at the Victoria Street and Frederick Street intersection.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, a grey sedan and a black pick-up truck collided.

Both drivers, a 27-year-old Kitchener woman and 31-year-old Kitchener man, were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate and are appealing for any witnesses to contact them, including those with dash cam video.

Police noted that charges are expected to be laid.
