Cambridge man arrested, firearms seized following reports of drunk driver

An arrest has been made of a Cambridge man following reports of a drunk driver.

Police received reports of an impaired driver after a man left a business in Brantford at roughly 5:20 p.m. on Jan. 24.

They were able to track the driver down to his home in Cambridge where he was arrested.

During the arrest, police found several firearms that were being transported and stored improperly, and when they later launched a search warrant on the home they found even more.

The 38-year-old Cambridge man was arrested and faces multiple charges including operation while impaired and careless use of a firearm.
