Cambridge man caught going more than double the speed limit

A Cambridge man was caught stunt driving after going more than 100 km/h over the speed limit in Cambridge on Thursday.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, officers pulled over a vehicle going 164 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

Police added that while being pulled over by officers, the diver attempted to switch seats with the female passenger and refused to identify himself to police.

Eventually, police learned the 53-year-old Cambridge man was unlicensed and driving in breach of a condition.

He was charged with more than one offence and had his vehicle impounded for 45 days.
