Kitchener man facing trafficking, weapon charges after OPP arrest

A Kitchener man is one of two suspects now facing charges after police takedowns in Kitchener and other locations on Wednesday.

Wellington OPP said in a statement Thursday that search warrants were executed on Pioneer Drive in Kitchener, John Carpenter Way in North Dumfries, and George Street in Arthur.

Drugs and a gun were seized.

Police photos from the raids show baggies and plastic food containers filled with drugs, allegedly cocaine, meth, an opioid other than heroin, and another unspecified drug.

A 31-year-old Kitchener man is facing multiple drug related charges, and one firearm charge.

A 28-year-old from Wellington North is facing one count of trafficking.
