Police looking for suspect who drove into two police crusiers in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police (WRPS) are investigating after a driver drove into multiple police cruisers during an attempted traffic stop in Kitchener.
It happened on Saturday, Mar. 9 around 1:20 a.m. in the area of Fischer-Hallman Road and University Avenue West.
The driver was in a grey Ford Escape when they drove into the cruisers as well as another car that was not involved in the traffic stop. The driver nearly hit multiple officers before driving off at a high speed.
Police did not attempt to follow the driver because of public safety concerns.
No one was hurt as a result of the incident. Anyone with more information is asked to reach out to police at 519-570-9777.
