Extreme cold warning ended for Waterloo Region

While temperatures remain chilly, an extreme cold warning previously issued for Waterloo Region has been lifted.

That warning was issued just before noon on Tuesday, warning of the potential for wind chill values near -30 degrees Celsius through the night into Wednesday morning.

The extreme cold warning has since ended.

Regional warming centres are available during business hours for anyone who needs them.
