Two arrests have been made and a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a third suspect in relation to a homicide this summer in downtown Kitchener.
A 19-year-old man from Hamilton was arrested on Sept. 27 and charged with manslaughter. On Oct. 5, police arrested a 25-year-old man from Hamilton, who is also facing a charge of manslaughter.
It followed the death of 18-year-old Joshua Tarnue, who was fatally shot outside of a business in the Queen Street and Charles Street area on Aug. 13.
The search is ongoing for another suspect from Hamilton, named as 20-year-old Habiton Solomon.
Solomon is wanted for second-degree murder and is considered armed and dangerous. In addition to Hamilton, Solomon has connections to the Ottawa, Windsor, Brantford, North Bay, and Huntsville areas.
Anyone who sees Solomon is told to not approach him and call 911 immediately.
Waterloo Regional Police said their investigation into the homicide remains ongoing and additional arrests and charged are anticipated.
