Wednesday is Pink Shirt Day

You may notice more pink around the office or school hallways on Wednesday.
It's Pink Shirt Day.
The annual event, an anti-bullying initiative, where a pink coloured shirt is worn to take a stand against bullying.
It started here in Canada, and is held on the last Wednesday of February.
Our local school boards have invited staff, students and parents to wear their pink proud.
Mark your calendar, #PinkShirtDay is on Wednesday, February 22.
We invite our community to wear pink to show that we do not, and will not, stand for #bullying of any kind.

Waterloo Regional Police have also been asking residents to share positive messages on social media.
