Two men injured in Kitchener stabbing

Regional police continue to investigate a stabbing in downtown Kitchener.

They received word early Sunday morning that two men had been taken to hospital with stab wounds. Police determined the stabbing took place at an establishment, in the area of King Street East and Scott Street, around 3 a.m.

It's believe the victims were confronted by a group of people.

A Kitchener man and a Guelph man were transported to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police also believe the involved individuals are known to one another.
