Cambridge Chamber hands out Business Excellence Awards

The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce's annual Business Excellence Awards took centre stage Thursday evening.

Approximately 300 people attended the event at Tapestry Hall. It was the first time it was held in-person since 2019.

“It's great to be able to celebrate the achievements of our local businesses again in-person after two years of hosting the event virtually,” Cambridge Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Greg Durocher explained in a news release. “This event not only boosted morale but showed them how much we rely on their commitment to our community, especially over the course of the last two years.”

The 2022 award winners are:

Business of the Year (1 – 10 employees) – Air Power Products Limited

Business of the Year (11 – 49 employees) – Unified Flex Packaging Technologies

Business of the Year (Over 50 employees) – Collaborative Structures Limited

New Venture of the Year Award – Drayton Entertainment RE: The Backstage Pass Digital Series

Outstanding Workplace – Employer of the Year – BWXT Canada Ltd.

Marketing Excellence – Red Bicycle Paper Co.

Spirit of Cambridge Award – SM Marketing and Management

Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award – Elisia Neves (Fabrik Architects Inc.)

WOWCambridge.com Customer Service Award – Bankim Patel (Baba Bazar & Al Madina Halal Meat)

Chair's Award – Eclipse Automation Inc.

Community Impact Award – Scott Higgins (HIP Developments)

The Business Excellence Awards first launched in 2000.
