Police looking into reports of a prowler in Waterloo’s university district

Waterloo Regional Police are looking for a potential prowler in the university district of Waterloo.
According to police, just before 11 p.m. Tuesday, a male was observed peering through a bedroom window where a female was changing. It happened in the area of Fir Street and State Street.
The suspect fled before police arrived on scene.
He has been described as having an average build and was last seen wearing dark clothing.

To improve safety, residents are encouraged to:
- Remain vigilant and report suspicious individuals to police immediately.
- Be cautious of individuals lurking near windows late at night.
- Install motion sensor lights or leave on exterior lights.
