COVID-19 outbreak declared in cohort at St. Agnes CES

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board has confirmed a COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at St. Agnes Catholic Elementary School in Waterloo.
It comes as a student has tested positive, and they are in the same cohort as another student who tested positive earlier this week.
No additional classrooms have been dismissed but officials at St. Agnes are working closely with public health, and said they will implement additional infection prevention control measures if necessary.
The school remains open for in-person learning at this time.
