Kitchener man wins $250K on scratch ticket

Gerald Phillips seems to love the game of Bingo.

The Kitchener man recently won $250,000 on an Instant Bingo Multiplier ticket.

“I won $50,000 with BINGO 22 years ago,” shared Gerald, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. “My mother used to play BINGO – that's why I like to play.”

The 64-year-old married father realized he won something after scratching his ticket and making a box.

He plans to pay some bills, buy a new car, and travel when it is safe to do so.
