OAKVILLE, Ont. — Police west of Toronto say three teens are facing assault charges and a warrant has been issued for a fourth after a stabbing at a high school earlier this week.
Halton Regional Police say officers found three injured 15-year-olds, — two with apparent stab wounds and one with a bloodied nose — when they responded to reports of an altercation at Garth Webb Secondary School in Oakville, Ont., on Wednesday around 4 p.m.
Police say a 15-year-old boy was arrested at the school and charged with assault, while a 17-year-old was arrested shortly after in the area of Merchants Gate and Third Line and also charged with assault.
In the same area shortly after midnight, police say officers arrested a 15-year-old boy, who is now facing a number of charges including two counts of assault causing bodily harm and carrying a concealed weapon.
Police say they have issued a warrant for a 19-year-old on the same list of offences.
They say the three victims have since been treated and released from hospital.
