Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will not attend inauguration of president-elect Donald Trump

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will not be attending the inauguration of president-elect Donald Trump.

The Prime Minister’s Office confirms to 570 News that Trudeau will not be in attendance for the historic moment Trump officially takes over the White House.

This comes after it was announced earlier today that Trudeau has also cancelled his trip to Davos Switzerland for the World Economic Forum.

Instead of attending these two international events Trudeau will be on a cross-Canada tour that he will be kicking off next week.

The campaign style town-hall tour will see the P-M speak with average Canadians in coffee shops and church basements in different regions.
