Trucker protest causes delays on 401 through Milton

A trucker protest continues on the 401 through Milton at Trafalgar.
OPP Sgt Kerry Schmidt spoke with the organizer of the protest, who says the truckers are upset with the Ministry of Transportation about the way their loads are weighed and charged.
The protest is not blocking the highway, but truckers have blocked the weigh scale lanes, which is causing a visual distraction for drivers.
The protest is expected to continue for most of the day.
