U of G football coach giving back to Queen’s

The head football coach at the University of Guelph has made a major donation to Queen’s University.

Stu Lang, who played his college football at Queen’s, has pledged $10 million toward the revitalization of that university’s stadium.

University President and Vice-Chancellor,  Daniel Woolf says, “Mr. Lang has shown tremendous vision and leadership in his desire to help Queen’s revitalize Richardson Stadium and we are very grateful for his generosity.”

The estimated cost of the project is $25-million.

Queen’s plans to launch a fundraising campaign to bring in the rest of the money.
