Police investigate reports of sexual assault on Kitchener trail

Waterloo regional police are investigating after reports of a sexual assault on a Kitchener trail Tuesday evening.

Around 7 p.m., police were contacted about a female victim who said she was sexually assaulted while walking on a trail near Homer Watson Boulevard and Stirling Avenue South.

That area is in the middle of Lakeside, Mausser, Meinzinger, and Concordia Parks.

No description of the suspect has been released by police, who only describe him as male. The age of the female victim has also not been released.

Officials said no one was physically injured. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
