Warm weather welcomes Waterloo Region into weekend

After a hot and humid past couple of weekends in the Region of Waterloo, skies are expected to stay clear for the upcoming weekend. 

It is a great chance to enjoy some outdoor activities, with Saturday’s high reaching 27 degrees and Sunday’s high at 29 degrees. 

Clear and sunny skies are expected to continue through the week until Wednesday, when some cloud coverage is expected to roll in.  

While there is no longer a heat warning in effect, UV levels will hover around 8, or “very high” over the weekend, so it is recommended that you bring sunscreen with you if you are outside for long periods of time.

Going into the week, you can expect similar temperatures, with the high hovering around 30 degrees.
