19-year-old from Kitchener arrested, charged in sexual assault investigation

Regional police have laid charges after an investigation into a sexual assault in the Doon South neighbourhood of Kitchener.

According to the release, officers were called to a disturbance outside a home in that area just before 9 p.m. on Thursday.

Police found two men fighting outside the home, and after investigating, police found that the men got into the altercation after one accused the other of sexually assaulting a youth.

No injuries were reported in that altercation.

A 19-year old from Kitchener was arrested in connection to the incident, and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

He’s being held for a bail hearing.
