OPP pull over truck after concerned 911 call, impaired driving charge laid

A call to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) led to an alleged drunk driver taken off the roadway.

Saturday, police posted on social media about the incident that began with a person calling 911 to report a transport truck being driven erratically.

Cambridge OPP found the truck in question and pulled the driver over.

Police said the driver reportedly blew three times the legal limit in a roadside test.

Their licence has since been suspended and the truck was seized by police. The driver has since been charged with impaired driving.
