Police looking for pickup truck driver after Cambridge hit-and-run

Waterloo regional police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck after a reported hit-and-run crash in Cambridge Sunday morning.

Police said around 3:15 a.m. Sunday, a pickup truck reportedly left the roadway and crashed into a traffic pole near Franklin Boulevard and Glamis Road.

The driver then drove away.

The intersection had to be shut down for several hours for both the investigation and the repairs to the pole.

There is no description of the driver at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
