Police search for suspect in armed person on person robbery

Regional Police are investigating and searching for a suspect following an armed robbery in Kitchener.
Reports of the robbery came in around 2 a.m. on Jan. 24 in the area of Lancaster Street West and Union Street.
When police arrived on scene they located the victim, a male, who reported that an unknown man had approached him with a knife.
Personal property was stolen, and police say the suspect fleeing the scene in a vehicle. No physical injuries were reported from the incident.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact WRPS or Crime Stoppers.
