Kitchener Rangers host Midwest rivals in search for sixth straight win

Your Kitchener Rangers will look to make it six wins in a row on Friday night when they host the Owen Sound Attack at The Aud.

The Blueshirts are fresh off a dramatic 3-2 overtime win over the Windsor Spitfires on Wednesday, and enter Friday’s contest in second place in the Western Conference.

The Attack have struggled since the trade deadline, having lost five straight games since trading away star goaltender Carter George to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

Rangers forward Jack Pridham’s game-winning goal in overtime against the Spitfires was his 29th of the year, putting him in second place in OHL goalscoring behind only Brantford’s Marek Vanacker.

After Friday, the Rangers get on the team bus and head south of the border to Pennsylvania for a meeting with the Erie Otters on Saturday.
