Hit and run on Christmas Eve under investigation

It seems someone in Kitchener put themselves on the naughty list at the last possible moment this year.

Regional police are investigating a hit and run incident that happened near Queen Street South and Halls Lane.

It happened on Christmas Eve in the early hours of the morning, right around 2:25 a.m.

A vehicle had reportedly left the road way and struck two light posts as well as a gas meter.

The driver did not remain on scene, and regional police are now looking for the suspect.
