Three suspects wanted in person-on-person robbery in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) are searching for three suspects following a person-on-person robbery in Cambridge.

On Dec. 14, officers responded to the area of Franklin Boulevard and Robinson Avenue around 1:45 a.m. after receiving reports of an assault.

Through their investigation, they found a teenager was approached by three suspects, assaulted and had personal items items stolen. The suspects fled the scene on foot before police arrived.

The teen sustained non-life threatening physical injuries during the incident.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Regional Police or Crimestoppers.
