Quebec provincial police (SQ) and Sun Youth announced a reward of up to $50,000 for any information that could help locate an Ontario skier who vanished in February from Mont-Tremblant – a busy resort village north of Montreal.
Liam Gabriel Toman, 22, disappeared in the early hours of Feb. 2. He was last spotted around 3:20 a.m. after spending most of the evening with friends at Le P’tit Caribou bar and seen on security camera footage around Chemin Curé-Deslauriers – near a hotel. The bar is located about 200 metres from the hotel.
Authorities say his wallet was found by a citizen near parking lot P1 on Chemin des Voyageurs – and a shadow was seen on the surveillance camera that could be Toman.
Investigators say Toman is 5′9″, roughly 130 pounds, and has hazel eyes and brown hair. At the time he went missing, he was dressed in a black Volcom jacket, black snow pants, a green sweater, a plaid shirt, and a white hat with dark stripes.

Toman’s family, who had travelled from Ontario to aid in the search, have been urging anyone with information to come forward. They have their own website with more information that can be viewed.
Sun Youth, through anonymous donors, is offering the reward of up to $50,000, valid until May 20, 2026, to anyone with information that could help locate Toman.
Anyone who may have seen Toman or has details that could help investigators is asked to contact the SQ’s information line at 1-800-659-4264.
