Police investigating Saturday evening break-and-enter in Kitchener

Regional police are investigating an evening break-and-enter that took place at a home in Kitchener on Saturday.

According to Waterloo regional police, the incident happened at around 8 p.m. at a home on Hidden Valley Road.

The home was empty at the time, and the thieves made off with property from inside.

Police believe that the incident was targeted, adding that there is no safety risk to the community.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with more information to contact them at (519)570-9777.
