Severe damage to parked vehicle in Kitchener mischief case

The public is being asked by regional police to assist with a case of mischief that occurred over the weekend in Kitchener.

Reports came in on May 16 of significant damage done to a parked vehicle in the area of Conway Drive and River Road East.

The damage is believed to have been done sometime between 7:00 p.m. on May 15 and 12:00 p.m. on May 16.

There were no signs of entry into the vehicle, leading police to believe it was not an attempted theft, with the windshield of the vehicle damaged beyond repair.

Police are now asking that anyone who may have information on the incident or has dashcam footage from the area to contact them at 519-570-9777, extension 4499, or to leave an anonymous tip with Crimestoppers.
