Pictures with Santa begin this weekend at local malls

It’s never to early to kick off the Holiday Season…right?
The next month and a half will be a very busy time as families make their preparations, but one task to cross off the list could happen as early as this weekend: photos with Santa Claus.
The Jolly Old Elf will be arriving at two malls in the area on Saturday, Nov. 15: Conestoga Mall in Waterloo and Stone Road Mall in Guelph
Conestoga Mall is also hosting pet parties and two sensory-friendly Santa events this month and next.
Those not quite ready to get the annual photos taken this weekend, Santa’s Cabin opens at Kitchener’s Fairview Park Mall on Nov. 22. They, too, will be hosting special events. Special Baby’s First Christmas photo sessions are available, and in December, the kids can stop by for Storytime with Santa.
For Cambridge residents, Santa will arrive at the Cambridge Centre Mall on Nov. 29. You can start checking their website for their Holiday events starting on Wednesday.
In each case, it is not required to book a time for a Santa picture, but online reservations are available and recommended.
For all the parents of fur-babies, you won’t be left out. As mentioned, Conestoga Mall will have two pet photo sessions with Santa. The Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford-Perth have joined with Victor Rose Photography for Holiday Pet Pics. You can book your spot now.
