Police investigating buy-and-sell robbery in Cambridge

Waterloo regional police are investigating a buy-and-sell robbery in Cambridge.

It happened Wednesday night around 8:30 p.m. at a residence in the Linden Drive area.

According to police, three men and one seller met to buy items listed for sale on a buy-and-sell website.

When the three buyers attempted to leave without paying, they were confronted by the seller, who was then assaulted by one of the men.

The seller suffered minor injuries.

All three suspects are described a black, ranging from 17 to 20 years old with thin and medium builds, and two have dreadlocks.
