Suspect wanted in Waterloo person-on-person robbery

Regional police are on the lookout for a suspect after a person-on-person robbery in Waterloo.

On Oct. 12, officers responded to the area of University Avenue West and Phillip Street around 8:10 p.m. after receiving a report of a robbery.

A male victim was allegedly assaulted by a male suspect inside a business and had their necklace stolen.

Police say the victim suffered minor physical injuries from the incident.

Police are looking to speak with the person pictured below in connection to the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.
