Driver arrested after pedestrian struck in Cambridge

An arrest has been made following a serious incident where a vehicle struck a pedestrian in Cambridge last month.
On Sept. 24, police responded to the area of Grand Avenue South between Queen’s Square and River Road after receiving reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a “Chevrolet Motor vehicle.”
A 32-year-old man from Trenton sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to an out of region hospital by regional paramedics.
Regional police say a 24-year-old woman from Kitchener is facing charges in connection to the incident. Charges include careless driving cause bodily harm and failing to remain at the scene.
