Youth approached by male driver in Waterloo neighbourhood

Police are investigating a suspicious encounter in a Waterloo neighbourhood after a youth was allegedly approached by a male driver.

The incident was reported on Friday around 1 p.m. in the Camille Crescent area.

Police said there was a brief interaction between the male youth and an unknown man, who was driving a beige sedan.

The boy was not hurt and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Waterloo Regional Police at 519-570-9777, ext. 6399.
