Kitchener woman charged after bear spray incident in March

An incident involving bear spray at a Kitchener apartment building in March has led to charges.

Waterloo regional police responded to the apartment building on Edwin Street around 3 a.m. on March 28 after reports that bear spray was discharged.

Multiple people were exposed and had to be treated for minor injuries.

On August 10, police arrested a 28-year-old Kitchener woman.

She is facing several charges, including assault with a weapon, and is set to appear in court on Sept. 18.
