Waterloo mentioned in new Drake track

A popular rapper is expanding his love for “The Six” to Waterloo Region.

Drake mentions Waterloo Region in his latest track with fellow Canadian rapper Smiley, “2 Mazza.“

In the first 30 seconds of the track, Drake drops the local mention saying, “Some nights I wanna cut ’cause the city’s been hot like lava. Yeah, lil’ Waterloo road trip, shorty see me and said, “Oh s***, girl, that’s Mr. 2 Mazza.”

Some are describing Drake’s lyrics as a trip through the GTA and its outskirts in the song.

2 Mazza is a slang phrase meaning ‘too crazy.’

The song appears on Smiley’s new album Don’t Box Me In.

Barrie, Muskoka and Brampton also got shout outs in the latest track.
