Noxious Substance attack in Waterloo under investigation

A late-night incident in Waterloo has regional police looking for one suspect still at large.

It happened in the area of Meadowsweet Avenue shortly after 11 p.m.

An unknown man allegedly sprayed a noxious substance at two victims before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

One of the two victims, an 18-year-old male, was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor physical injuries.

The suspect behind the incident is described as a black male in a grey hoodie and 5’7″ tall.

An investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police or leave a tip with Crimestoppers.
