Papa Roach, The Used coming to The Aud

By Erin Anderson

Hard rock fans in Waterloo Region will be head-banging this December as Papa Roach will play Kitchener for the first time ever.

The band is bringing their Rise of the Roach tour to The Aud and they won’t be alone as The Used and Sleep Theory will join them.

It’s a special endeavour as it’s the band’s 25th anniversary and also represents their most consecutive Canadian shows in almost a decade.

“This is the most stacked lineup we’ve ever brought your way, and we’re beyond stoked to hit cities we haven’t played in years,” said Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix in a release. “This is going to be a night you won’t want to miss!”

Bert McCracken of The Used said they’re also beyond excited to hit the road in Canada, “It’s been a long time coming and we can’t wait to see you there!”

The Rise of the Roach tour started in Europe back in January and then shifted to the U.S.

The Canadian leg starts in Vancouver in November and the concert at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium is set for Saturday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m. and you can learn more by clicking here.

Concert promoter Live Nation says $1 from every ticket sale will benefit suicide prevention organizations in each province in an effort to raise awareness about the crisis helpline, 9-8-8 Canada.
