Hot, humid Thursday on track to be hottest day of 2025 so far

Thursday is set to be the hottest day of 2025 so far with temperatures rising to 26 C.

Jill Taylor, 570 NewsRadio Meteorologist, says there will even be a humidex, making it feel like nearly 30 C.

“Very summer-like conditions for us today, just a brief warm up…tomorrow some showers and thunderstorms especially for Friday night, and a whole lot cooler on Saturday.”

It’s a far cry from where the weather was at last week, with multiple days seeing wind chill values around the freezing mark and even snow.

The high heat won’t last for long, with temperatures dipping back down to 11 C by the weekend.

Taylor says to expect more seasonal temperatures moving forward, with highs around 14 C for most of next week.
